MEA And Mofa Attestation
If you're a potential businessperson or investor looking to set up a business in the UAE, you've made one of the best decisions for your success.
MEA Attestation in Dubai, UAE
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is responsible for attesting original documents for use abroad. It handles both Apostille and general attestation services.
Apostille refers to the authentication of personal documents such as birth and marriage certificates.
General attestation covers the verification of all other types of documents.
MOFA Attestation in Dubai, UAE
Your documents and certificates must be attested by various offices, including HRD, MEA, Embassy, and MOFA. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attests documents at the final stage of the procedure. To get your documents attested by MOFA, ensure you bring your passport, fees, and original attested certificates.
If you are moving to the UAE from your home country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will first attest your certificates. These documents must then be submitted to the UAE Embassy Attestation Department in your country. However, educational documents fall under the jurisdiction of the Educational Ministry. Once attested by the relevant authorities in your home country, you will need to have them attested by MOFA in the UAE as well.
Similarly, if you are leaving the UAE, you must also have your documents attested by MOFA UAE, as it is the official authority responsible for handling all attestation-related activities in the region. However, MOFA does not attest personal certificates such as birth and marriage certificates.
